A Booming Voice A booming voice Angry without a doubt Is heard through the silence You can't miss that shout It humiliates me It intimidates me And I feel ashamed Like a child who knows she's to be blamed But I'm not a child for very long I rise like a woman and I stand strong I shouldn't take yelling anymore Especially if it's uncalled for Between us grown-ups the tone should be civilized And I shouldn't take being unjustly criticized No one will again stand unanswered, you see When raising his or her voice towards me A booming voice Angry without a doubt But with firm but kind words I want to make it fade out ~ Angel Marianne ~ "Don't Blink" Don't blink..... Life is too short to not pay attention to the finer details Don't blink..... Or you may not see something that will have a great Yet profound impact upon your life. Don't blink..... Because that one fleeting moment in which your eyes would be closed, Might be that moment which stirs great thought within your soul. Life is precious and it is meant to be lived. For each and every great thing ever created by the hands of mankind, Began with a single thought. If each of us is capable of such thought, Then each of us is also capable of such greatness. But whatever you do.....
